Longer bio:

Lizzie Lasater teaches creativity, functional movement, somatic strength, and Restorative Yoga.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in Art History from UCLA and a Master’s in Design from Columbia University in New York City. A yoga teacher since 2005, she is an E-RYT 200 and a Relax and Renew® Level 2 trainer.

Lizzie jokes that she has been practicing since the womb because her mother, Judith Hanson Lasater, has taught yoga since 1971. Honoring her lineage while embracing contemporary movement science, Lizzie shares the powerful insights of yoga through free content on Instagram, YouTube, and her Sunday Sustainable Self-Care newsletter, plus online courses and in-depth workshops, refining the practice to better serve women’s bodies and to teach people, not just poses.

Beyond yoga, Lizzie designs a jewelry collection to keep the spirit of yoga close to her heart. Lizzie lives with her Austrian husband and twin boys Otto and Felix in Salzburg.
